I am an osteopathic manual practitioner (DOMP) who graduated from the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy. I have also been a hands-on practitioner for over 20 years as a massage therapist (RMT) and shiatsu therapist (DIPL ST). I have been an instructor and clinic supervisor at the Shiatsu School of Canada for over 15 years. I also taught meditation and stretch classes at the SSC. My knowledge of shiatsu and massage complement my practice.
Movement and dance have been a part of my life since I graduated from contemporary dance from Simon Fraser University and had a dynamic career as a professional dancer. My affinity for movement lead to yoga, pilates and meditation and understanding of the importance of breath, motion, strength, and stability for health. My education in alignment and movement strategies support the effectiveness of treatment and client’s recovery.
I work with people of all ages – from children to the elderly. My experience and toolbox of techniques will suit the unique needs of individuals whether it is a particular injury or condition, chronic pain or stresses of work and daily life.
